oh you're right, our worst reliever came into a tight game and immediately gave up two BBs, I beg for Dale's forgiveness. And then? a ball was hit hard that luckily went right to a fielder. You honestly think this was the best spot to let marmol work through his [expletive]? The (lucky) result doesn't justify the bad decision. You vastly overestimate Marmol's ability to blow a 2 run lead when you have another reliever(that doesn't walk anyone) available pretty much instantly. Again, he gave up 2 walks because of a teacup strike zone, got a loud out, then mowed down 2 guys. It was a good outing. which is all well and good, but again, until he works through his [expletive] and starts throwing strikes again, he shouldn't pitch in close games. If dale trusts him in the eighth there, why did he bother pulling him as closer?
