30 pitches through 2 for Marquis need to get that down a little bit, i'm hoping for 3 complete game shutouts this weekend please haha.

Lee running had nothing to do with Ramirez striking out. What are you talking about? This may be true, but was the Theriot K on a hit and run? I didn't see what that was all about. Regardless I'm not a fan of running with our roster very much. I may not be for running a lot against good catchers but I've never heard of this catcher and Soriano got there safely and I bet Lee would've been safe had the SS waited on the ball to get there if there was no one on 3rd going home. So I'm alright with it today.

We'll just take a quick peek at our last 3 losses. Now make it 4. Not including the blowout to the cards 12-3. Reds L 2-1 Florida L 2-1 Houston L 2-0 Pirates L 3-0 Need I go further? Ok Florida L 2-3 Florida L 2-3 Blown out by Dbacks Dbacks L 2-0 Astros L 4-1 Astros L 2-1 Giants L 4-2 3 games where we scored 3 or more and lost Giants L 2-1 That is just a sample size, a lot of our losses are thanks to terrible hitting. And those games are just from now to the beginning of July. That is 11 games since July that our hitting has cost us any chance to win a ball game. 4 runs should be nothing to this lineup. But I shouldn't really complain all to much we are tied for the best record in the majors, check that .5 back and tied for 2nd best record in the majors behind the Angels tied with the Rays. But it does happen a lot so your mention of why we are so far ahead is true but it isn't because our offense doesn't do this (what they did tonight) a lot because they do this a lot. 17-18 is our record in 1 run games and I would guess a majority of our 1 run wins come with more than 3 runs on the board and most of our 1 run losses come with 3 or less runs on the board.

Welp up to Derosa a man with 2/3 of our hits today. Can he make it 3 of our 4 hits and tie the game? I'll say a weak groundout.

That is something I'm definitely worried about or if they mail it in a few two many times in September it will cost us the division with the teams we play.
