Alright Cubs with 2 games remaining in June you are 13-11. You have yet to go .500 in a single month this year, so you must win at least 1 of the last 2 to keep the streak alive. Thank you and beat Parra, he may be pretty good but he's coming off his first loss of the year and he isn't Sabathia or Sheets, so don't worry about him throwing 120+ pitches or wait maybe Yost will ruin his arm too in the long run? -
Ned Yost on C.C. July 8th Colorado Rockies 6 innings 97 pitches, he was being nice to C.C. that night. July 13th Cincinnati Reds 9 innings 122 pitches, here we go Ned! July 18th San Fran Giants 9 innings 110 pitches keep up that pitch count Ned! July 23rd St Louis Cards 9 innings 106 pitches over 100 for the 3rd time in 4 games as a Brewer July 28th Chicago Cubs 6 2/3 124 pitches 5 games as a Brewer 4 games over 100 pitches Average of 112 pitches per outing, not a very good number to be averaging over a 5 game span for your ace pitcher unless you are planning on wearing him down completely come playoff time. He may be a big guy but 110 pitch average is going to wear anyone down.

So I didn't watch this game because I got my PS3 back from sony, it was gone for 2 1/2 weeks :(. I had to get my NCAA 09 Fix and I did then I come to see the score of the game and it made me even happier! :yahoo: THAT HAPPY! -

well time to sleep for me because that was a disgusting game, I turned it in the 5th because i was getting pissed, come back to the daryle ward homer even though it didn't matter because it made it 5-2, but that was kind of nice to see, and then this happens, just DISGUSTING! So heres to 1 GB the Brewers by Thursday night! Or we should make it even better and hope we lose both, and the Cards and Brewers Split and there is a 3 way tie!

On the road they are for sure, I can't wait to get back to Wrigley but if the offense looks as ugly at wrigley as it does everywhere on the road I will be very scared and ready to relinquish the division.

Does anyone know why Soriano isn't with the Cubs because he could probably play blindfolded and hit better right now. Mostly it's about shaking off the rust and making sure he's fine in the outfield. He should be back soon! Oh I know but with the way the team is hitting right now who knwos he could be a spark and shake the dust off at the same time.
