4-3 Cubs. Low scoring affair, Marquis goes into the 7th, but bullpen pulls through. Jones comes through in the bottom of the inning for the eventually winning RBI single.

Those would have been balls to Bonds. the pitches to bonds were more strikes than those, no question. Apparently in their preferential treatment of bonds, the umps forget that there's actually a team in a playoff race here. Ala Jordan pushing off vs the Jazz to hit the game winning shot? There's no doubt in my mind that MJ got all the favorable calls. It was a push off but in that case MJ was pretty slick about it and the refs weren't in the best position to see the infraction. Plus, the NBA has an unwritten rule about swallowing their whistles in the final seconds of big games... Those pitches to Bonds were blatantly in the strike zone and the ump didn't call them. His strikezone is a postage stamp! Agreed.
