Definately agree. About a month ago, I basically refused to even look at the sports section or watch espn due to the Cubs. Since then... No reason not to sweep the Nats. I hear 10 of 11, and then 11 of 12. Let's go Cubs.

Gotta be kinda happy that the bullpen has held up and the hitters have gotten some back. Easily coulda been looking at 11-1 after that first inning. I figured some optimism here is overdue.

I like using Izturis here. This way, he doesn't have an opportunity to screw up later.

We had that play in High School. Especially summer ball when the umps couldn't give two sh*ts. Midway through wind-up catcher would complain about dirt in his contact and then fall away from the batter, leaving the ump wide open. Only got him in the chest protector or mask. Never the neck.
