Nance was quite good for the first month with the sticky stuff. Didn’t realize his overall numbers tanked so hard.

What can you realistically do? I’m open to making moves, but I’m not getting rid of Zach. You’re not getting much for Vuc. I like the chemistry with DD. Pray PAW stays healthy and elevates his game next year? Also, I don’t want to make excuses but the Lonzo injury has been killer. I’ve probably said this before, but the Bulls lack consistent VOLUME 3 point shooting. Lonzo gave you that (7.4 3PA/game). He also provided some easy points in transition and, of course, the defense. He’s arguably the most irreplaceable player on the team.

Think about where this franchise was a year ago. Or pre-AKME. We are no longer a joke. We are also in dire need of Lonzo and his 3 point volume. Ayo is nice, but the gap between him and Lonzo is immense.

But in 2021-2022 Bulls fashion that announcement comes with an announcement that Lavine is out. Sounds like just maintenance on the knee but strange after 2 straight off days Yeah. Not great. Hopefully it’s just trying to use the spaced out schedule this week to give him a longer stretch of rest. Like MLB giving someone a day off before an off day. Also, the Cavs are beat up and on a back to back. Should be able to take care of business without him.

Why Simmons if you also were to sign Correa? Nico and Alcantara can backup SS well enough. -
FRP valuation on Mack was a pipe dream. Wish the second pick was a tad higher, but not surprising. 2023 4th seemed like a realistic hope. Anyway, the cap savings in 2023 and 2024 is the real prize here. $23M/year for 32/33 year old perpetually injured Khalil Mack doesn’t sound like a great idea for a rebuilding team.

DD 9/27 on 2s. That can’t be your offense when you don’t play defense down the stretch, and give up 33 free throw attempts.

I feel like maybe Donovan felt that Coby's 3 point ability was more important in the game with Levine and DD shooting poorly and a big deficit. And honestly, Ayo wasn't stopping Morant. No one was stopping him. Yeah for sure. I didn’t have a problem with that. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss a tweak or anything. Vuc was the killer. The Bulls really need to do something about the pick and roll defense if they want to go far in the playoffs. Not sure if the return of Zo/Caruso will be enough.

TT needed more minutes. Adams was less of a nuisance when he was on the court. Was Ayo hurt? Had the game on in the background so wasn’t listening much to the broadcast, but he didn’t play much in the second half.

Watched a little bit of it. Was kind of fun actually seeing some competitive play and defense in an all star format. Don’t feel that way anymore. Don’t even run on Sunday, Demar. And let’s move to a skills competition only type of format in the future.
