  1. im sure people said the same thing about Maddux in 92 im sure the cubs did not get a Brandon Wood and Nick Adenhart for getting rid of Maddux in 92
  2. Use yahoo. I typically like 12-16 team leagues. Anything 10 or more should be okay though. The more teams involved, the more shallow the talent pool becomes, and that's what I like. I like having to find sleepers instead of every team having an all star lineup. Good luck, I've been involved in fantasy leagues for awhile and the commissioner of a dynasty baseball league with a lot of NSBBers the past few years. It's fun and adds a little more excitement to non-Cubs baseball games.
  3. Most reports I've seen, say that if Quinn drops to Miami at #9 they will be forced to take him or trade down to a team that really wants him.
  4. I had a dream KG was on the Bulls. I don't know who they traded for him, but Deng was still on the team. Man...sometimes I wish my dreams were reality.
  5. Did anyone hear something about McNabb and/or Garcia? A somewhat friend is saying to me online that he saw on PTI that there are rumors of a McNabb trade to the Bears or if the Eagles don't resign Garcia, him coming here. I don't see it happening, but I'm just curious if anyone saw what that part was about. It was probably just Wilbon dreaming.
  6. Hinrich seemed pretty pissed about that...
  7. Bulls up in the 3rd quarter, but not looking too good.
  8. The Falcons have said that they have no plans to trade Vick. Link Good because this means that horrible deal Foxsports reported won't go through. And even if the Falcons decided to that deal, they wouldn't draft a QB. I think they'd go with Matt Schaub and then draft Calvin Jackson or someone else.
  9. And they ended up winning 94-86 :) Dallas next on Thursday. If we can find a way to win that game, I will be extremely pleased. If they can't beat Atlanta, they don't even deserve to wear Bulls unis. As for Dallas, obviously I always root for them but I see little chance of a win. Why's that? They've beaten Dallas in the past couple of years. They play good at home and they are at home for this game. I wouldn't say I like their chances but I wouldn't say there's "little chance of a win".
  10. How are the seats in that section? I got tickets for tomorrows game off ebay for cheap in section 333 row 2. Just wondering what to expect tomorrow (besides a Bulls win).
  11. *pinch* Enjoy it, Bears fans. I love all you guys, and I love the whole Bears team. I love you Rex. I love you Thomas Jones/Cedric Benson. I love you Offensive Line, you scrappy veterans. I love you Bernard Berrian and Muhsin Muhammad (and you too Rashied!). You guys have made the plays when they needed to be made. When they needed to be made. I love you Defensive Line. You guys circled the wagons and have regrouped since losing your best player. Keep it up. I love you Linebackers. You guys are the best in the league. That means you too, Hillenmeyer. I love you Defensive Backs. I'll always have a love hate relationship with you guys, but you're constantly put into tough situations and have come out victorious more often than not. See how good our DB's can be when we have Tillman, Vasher and Ricky Manning all healthy? I love you Robbie Gold. I love you Devin Hester. Most of the time. Where's the love for Brad Maynard? His punt shifted the momentum back to the Bears. Clark and McKie say they want a little bit of love too.
  12. Play of the Game: Brad Maynard's punt when only leading by 2 that went out of bounds at the 5 year line. At that time, the Saints had all the momentum and that punt set up the Safety. After that, the Bears didn't look back.
  13. I'm sorry, but you're just flat out wrong. I've watched him on league pass the last 2 years, and he is as good as they get in the post. He also always draws fouls under the hoop, and is usually in the top 5-10 in FTA's in the entire league. All he does is back down players...maybe i'm wrong but i'm guessing you just haven't seen too much of him. Edit: I'm also pretty sure he was in the top 5 or 10 in points in the paint last year. Ok, if that's the case that's better. As you said, I've only seen Gasol a few times - a few playoffs games a few games against the Bulls or the LA teams. I hope you're right but I really would waiver on trading Deng. Yeah, Gasol's game is basically face up, drive past the guy and get clobbered driving into the lane or back down and try something. He's a pretty good passer too. I love Deng, but if he is the centerpeice in a trade for Gasol I'd probably have to pull the trigger. Hopefully the demand will become a little more well known and drive down his value alot, to where all we would need to give is financial relief and a pick. No way do I give up Deng for Gasol. Deng is already a very solid player and he's only gonna get better.
  14. I love the signing of Cam Cameron. Especially when you compare him to the coaches he was reportedly up against (Chan Gailey, Mini Shula)
  15. Why would he decide to not try football too? I mean I know the reasons why he would, but what has changed in his mind since he originally wanted to try to do both?
  16. Bulls thread falls down to page 3 and on a game night nonetheless so bumpity bump bump.
  17. Yes, and not only that, but I believe Russ Grimm's interview with the Bears was his first HC interview. I like him, he's a no-nonsense kind of guy. OLine is the most underrated position coach in football. Shula to Miami might feed the nostalgia of Phins fans, but I just don't see how he's anywhere near ready to coach an NFL team. I'm a fins fan, but in no way do I want Mike Shula to become the next HC. Why? You could trade for Brian Gresie then? LOL. We did already have him. He was horrible. Is there a Csonka anywhere in football we can bring in too?

  19. Gould is my hero. Hester needs to stop fumbling. Grossman played a solid game.Brigg s needs to be resigned RIGHT NOW.
  20. How in the world is Ryan Howard not a "top tier" player?
  21. Quick question. I've never been to an NFL game. Suppose you sit where Jon is. How good are those seats? I would love to be in the atmosphere at the stadium (especially during the playoffs), but is it worth all the money? Is it that much better than watching the game on your couch with some friends or at a bar with a bunch of crazy drunk fans?
  22. Who considers Crede a better player than Ramirez? Just about every White Sox fan, so pretty much almost everyone on Chicago Sports radio. I tend to not listen to the idiots on the radio and all the White Sox fans I know love Crede, but know he's not nearly as good offensively as Ramirez.
