If Aramis does have to miss any major time, I hope Lou will have the good sense to bat Soto cleanup, as well as the decency nail Pujols on the elbow next time we meet those pieces of trash. Just make sure its Marquis pitching, in case it results in a suspension.

The problem is, Pie has yet to prove that he can contribute to the team. The least thing we want is Thing 1 and Thing 2 swinging at everything they see. If we cant get a CoCo Crisp or Milton Bradley, Im still all about Kenny Lofton. -

According to the cycle, were scheduled for a loss here, but the good news is we'll pound them on Tuesday before looking lost Wednesday.

Thats kind of counter productive, as we have 4 decent guys we should be able to put a middle infield out of, and center field is the big question mark as far as offensive production gos. I know a lot of people here LOVE Greene, but his numbers are dismal, even for Petco. Id just assume chase Coco Crisp or Milton Bradley, or even sign Kenny "What have I done to deserve forced retirement" Lofton. Anyone of these guys could be a short term answer while we spend another year hoping that next year Felix Pie will break out.

Should Marquis Be Sent to the Pen or DFAed?

DFA all the way. He doesnt want to go to the pen, and hed do just as much damage there. This is the time of year that hes supposed to be good, so I dont want to know whats going to happen in June or July. Send him anywhere for anything. Let Gallagher, Marshall, and Hill if he can shape up in Iowa compete for his spot. -
I just hope this team can survie the 7 games vs the D Backs and Padres before being graced with another 3 game Pirates series.

Is Aramis at least going to be ready to go for tommorows loss, or will they wait for Tuesdays blow out win to bring him back? And then who pitches the close loss on Wednesday?

whatever the little guys do, If Lee and Fukudome cant come through, were not going to win a lot of games. Hopefully, if Fuku keeps the inning alive, Ramirez will be able to pinch hit.

I agree. I think Aramis would've gotten both of those balls. At least knocked them down. cedeno would've turned both into triple plays. Soto would have managed to give us a run on each play.

David Eckstein, Austin Kearns, Aaron Miles, Scott Podsednik, Adam Kennedy. Cubs pitchers need to learn to pitch to gritty white guys.

to be fair, most lineups become average when you remove arguably their best hitter and turn their third or fourth-best hitter into a lesser version of neifi perez. Never compare Alfonso Soriano to Neifi Perez. Neifi did great things for this team.
