Wow that's a stretch. A placekicker that high in the NFL draft is worlds different to a relief pitcher in the first round of the MLB draft. I don't think their relative values are comparable either. The Polish Powderkeg is to placekickers what Carlos Marmol is to relief pitchers. The Raiders have no reason to regret anything.

Our Negro League condesention draft pick Walt Owens can not only take Jason Marquis' spot in the rotation, but play a little infield as well. Im excited.

I hear ya. Every game, I tell myself I'll just watch a few innings, just to see how its turning out, and every game, I end up staying with it until the final pitch, and every day, I have to be up at 6am. I'll try to excersize self control tonight and stay away.

Matt Kemp has been suspended for 4 games after the Torealba fight. I believe that they have no plans to appeal, and he will begin serving immediatly. Good for us.

Actually, the most games they could gain is 1.5. meh, lets just beat the Dodgers and not even worry about it.

Traditionally, after a slow start, June is when Derrek would heat up. Yup, but normally I'd be worried about Soto more because it seems like he can't hit breaking pitches, but Derrek has just been awful lately. He needs to move down in the order until he figures it out. Pitchers are figuring out Soto, and hes going to have to adjust. This sounds like a job for Gerald Perry.
