  1. Well this has no hitter written all over it.
  2. I only watch Japanese cartoons when the women are being "tentacled" by large sea monsters Come on, no one here plays Trauma Center? Whether people play it or not doesn't change the fact that the picture u posted is just weird. Lol Weird? definitely. Strangely enchanting? you betcha.
  3. Thats it wise guy, its the foes list for you. no, not really. But still, the magic number is perfectly easy to comprehend for the divivision when its a 2 team race, but it gets a bit confusing when dealing with the on for a playoff spot, if only the Brewers have to lose, or the Phillies, or both. Now I get it that only that Phillies have to lose.
  4. So just so Im perfectly clear, even if the Cubs lose, and the Brewers win,if the Phillies lose, we still get 1 shave of the playoff MN?
  5. YOU CAN PUT HIM ON THE DDDDDDDDDDDDDDLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.....NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO Again, couldnt restist. Yes, I am aware that with 40 man rosters, theres no point putting him on the DL.
  6. Phillies(Wife Beater) vs. Mets(Pelfrey)-Go Mets! Padres(Some guy named Greer) @ Brewers(CC)-Im still going with last nights bold prediction that the Pads serve CC his first NL loss.
  7. Dont forget the 4 games shaved off the MN during that nightmarish stretch that hopefully ends today.
  8. Yes, because the I-Cubs need is clearly greater than the big league Cubs' need. I wasnt saying that. I was saying if Hoff stays glued to the bench, whats the point?
  9. Both teams were so hot that they were bound to cool off. It's strange that the both cooled off at the exact same time. And the Cardinals have proved that they have no intention of crawling back into the race. It looks like most of the top NL teams have hit a funk. in the last 10 games, Cubs, Brewers, Phillies, and Dodgers are all 5-5, and the D Bags are 3-7. Only the Mets are doing OK for themselves at 7-3.
  10. They never could afford him to begin with. The guys looking at a record shattering contract for a pitcher, maybe even for anyone. His first choices are the Dodgers, Angels, and Giants, and at the off chance that none of them want him, the Yankees will offer him something ridiculous, especially now that they're done throwing money down the toilets known as Pavano and Giambi.
  11. Nice job Pads! I thought for sure as soon as Kendall stole a base, they were going to blow it. Bold prediction: CC gos 6 innings tommorow and takes his first NL loss. Pads go on to take 3-4.
  12. Brewers with a Cobs style blink of an eye inning,
  13. If this guy doesnt GIDP, on of the few semi recognizeable Padres will bat.
  14. Bye Bye Suppan. Here comes the Guilermo Mota and the Brewers pen.
  15. 2nd and 3rd 1 out for the Pads. Giles being intentionally walked for Luis Rodriguez.
  16. Suppan is really melting down.
  17. Home run by some guy named Venable. seriosuly where do the Padres find these guys? Local bars?
  18. Bob Uecker just said "True Dat".
  19. 3-1 Pads after a balk followed by a base hit.
  20. And JJ Hardy and Ryan Braun Cob themselves out of any runs. still 2-1 Badres.
  21. Bases loaded 1 out for the Brewers after Rickie Weeks got hit by a pitch. Remember when pitching used to be the Padres strength? Now they got nothing.
  22. I-Cubs getting spanked. Good thing Lou took their best hitter and buried him.
  23. And maybe the Padres offense can...no, Estes is going to need 6 shutout innings. Hey, if Randy Wolf can do it.
