    Thats it wise guy, its the foes list for you. no, not really. But still, the magic number is perfectly easy to comprehend for the divivision when its a 2 team race, but it gets a bit confusing when dealing with the on for a playoff spot, if only the Brewers have to lose, or the Phillies, or both. Now I get it that only that Phillies have to lose.

    Yes, because the I-Cubs need is clearly greater than the big league Cubs' need. I wasnt saying that. I was saying if Hoff stays glued to the bench, whats the point?

    Both teams were so hot that they were bound to cool off. It's strange that the both cooled off at the exact same time. And the Cardinals have proved that they have no intention of crawling back into the race. It looks like most of the top NL teams have hit a funk. in the last 10 games, Cubs, Brewers, Phillies, and Dodgers are all 5-5, and the D Bags are 3-7. Only the Mets are doing OK for themselves at 7-3.

    They never could afford him to begin with. The guys looking at a record shattering contract for a pitcher, maybe even for anyone. His first choices are the Dodgers, Angels, and Giants, and at the off chance that none of them want him, the Yankees will offer him something ridiculous, especially now that they're done throwing money down the toilets known as Pavano and Giambi.
