Why the hell would the Cubs be interested Tom Gorzelanny when we have guys who arent Tom Gorzelanny? BCB specifically said Cubs fans would be happy with the pitcher Hendry was looking at, that automatically rules out Gorzelanny. Maybe Ian Snell? This hasnt been his year, but hed be a good pick up. Gorzalanny would be about as exciting a pick up as Brian Anderson.

    We lead the loss column.. IMHO were a better team than the Giants and Rockies, and we can take the Card. The of course theres the matter of playing the Phillies or Dodgers, but we'll see.

    Theyd probably prefer Marshall or even Wells over Harden. Harden is a free agent next year, so there not going to trade a guy whose going to be a free agentat the end of next year for a guy whose going to be a free agent at the end of this year

    As much as it pains me that Mark DeRosa is a Cardinal, and it scares me that Matt Holliday is, and it sucks that they have the best hitter and one of the best pitchers on earth, I dont think theres a Cardinal that pisses me off more than Joel Piniero. This guy has no business pitching the way he is.

    Braves lead the Brewers 4-2 bottom 3. Looks like Manny Parra is bad again. To the Brewers credit, thats like 2 more runs than we were able to get off of Vazquez.

    It seems that every time Randy Wells comes in, the guys nothing but consistant. Yeah, giving up the 3 run bomb to Harang sucked, but it happens. I really believe he'll be a solid 3 or 4 big league starter for years to come. Aside from that start vs. the Twins, hes kept us in every game.

    We need a term for this, you know, like Fuku-walk, or Fuku-copter, or Arama-bomb. Anybody more creative than me got anything? Man, this game thread is boring. Milt-a-pass How about a Board-walk? uggggggh this is terrible. How about this isnt what your paid to do, put the damn bat on the ball.
