Im good with it. Right now, what we need is a guy to domintate big leaguers for 1 inning more than a guy dominating minor leaguers for 4 or 5. If he can help us with our biggest need right now, Im all for it. And Im sure he can go back to starting in the future. Worked for Wainwright.

I'm assuming Marmol is 1 of your 2 remaining. Just curious who your 2nd guy is? marshall So what has Russell done to not be included? I dont really mind Russell, or even Berg or Caridad for that matter, but in a 1 run or tie game, I wouldnt go with them.

DAMMIT, I saw the thread title and thought we were rid of him. Anytime Lou puts Samardzjia in a winnable game, he deserverves to lose though. The again, same goes with 5/7 of our bullpen.

Fukudome is our bes defender and has been one of our most consistant hitters so far. Until he stops hitting, theres no reason to sit him vs. a righty.

Outside of Prince, Braun and Gallardo no one on the Brewers impresses me (unless I'm missing someone, maybe McGehee, I don't know). They aren't that good of a team. Ricky Weeks.

I really dont see why bringing up Cashner would be the worst thing in the world. What we really need is that 8th inning guy. Im not saying that hes it, but if he can be, hes a lot more valuable there than as an ace in AA. And its not like it will ruin him as a starter for ever. Just ask Adam Wainwright. -
If Tracy keeps on doing what hes doing, and Hoff, Snyder, or someone of the like starts heating up, Im sure a change will be made. Early on, Bobby Scales and Bryan LaHair(whoever he is) have been the only really hot I Cubs. Hoffs been OK, with a .856 OPS and 2 HR, but Snyders got a .067/.067/.133 line going for him.

Mike Fontenots actually been doing OK for himself so far. However, Bakers been better, and Im thinking its time to give him the lions share of time at 2B.

Has to be. 96MPH fastball with movement and an absolutely unhittable slider. Theres really no point in swinging at his slider. Either A. Its well out of the zone B. Its in the zone, and your not going to hit it anyway.

Theres little doubt in my mind that Marmols going to do everything in his power to make this very, very interesting. I would REALLY hate to lose this one.

I got the Royals. :banghead: Haven't even been to the K yet cause my buddy got married opening weekend. I'll take the Red Sox. After watching the 2008 Cubs, Ive decided that winning is fun.

That SOB. Soriano pulls either of those plays that Byrd and Kosuke/Byrd pulled on the back to back triples and he gets crucified for it. Byrd and Kosuke? Won't hear another word. Because Byrd and Fukudome dont make a habit out of making bad plays.

Sounds about right. Some not that great jitters are teeing off on him. I suppose its fitting that the guy we got for Aaron Miles is horrible.
