    Yea, they're saying it was self-inflicted. Was he throwing a fit or just trying to see what would happen if he swung a bat into a wall? "I fouled off the second pitch and did something I've done since I was a kid. I had the bat in my left hand and hit it with my right hand." It's one of those things that people lambaste you for if it goes bad, but I'll bet lots of players do these sorts of things. Who doubts Zambrano would take a pasting if he had to sit out because he badly bruised his thigh after a strikeout? I think the White Sox are still winning that division. i don't know...they don't have crede either...i think the twinkies take it all the way now

    i was at a bar last night getting hammered and i saw this little stat on ESPN recent teams to have a 6 game losing streak in august-september to win the world series: 1993 Blue Jays 2000 Yanks 2006 Cards just kind of a surreal moment

    I agree with this post. He posts that crap to get a rise. Gee, let's always post that the worst possible outcome is going to happen in the heat of the moment to piss everyone off. Someone who posts something to get a rise is trolling. because us cub fans hate eachother obviously ;) More like venting than trolling. The team is playing like absolute filth. I dare anyone here to deny that. Were all thinking it, so why cant people post it? Exactly. I thought game thread's were supposed to be heat of the moment and posts were reactionary; that's all mine was. In no way was I trolling or trying to get a rise out of anyone. Why would I do that?
