    Scott Moore and Roberto Novoa And Illinois football benchwarmer, Bo Flowers. Bo went to my HS. And WOW to this deal. Big move for the Yankees. I have less faith that the Rays are going to the playoffs now. there is really only one thing that would make me smile more this year

    Even if Kyle Farnsworth were a good RP, why would the Tigers want him? They can't truly think they can jump up 5.5 games in the next 2 months, can they? the tigers may have their flaws, but considering how much baseball is left, that really isn't that much of a lead to overcome that would almost be the equivalent of us sweeping the brewers and then pronouncing ourselves the NLC champs

    No offense, but almost anytime you lose a close game with numerous close plays, it feels that you gave away too many chances. Had the Brewers won, we would have felt the same thing about Lee cutting off the throw home, Quade sending Lee when he should have held him, and the numerous other plays where the Cubs gave away chances. Both teams made mistakes. Both teams had some things go their way. The better team won tonight. don't tempt the fates my man :beg: upon review of my post, i have also realized that my hypocrisy knows no bounds :hello:

    ok ok ok this IS funny so, everytime we beat the brewers...they beat themselves??? that is false dude seriously, the only thing you can say in this situation is that you feel like they let one slip away because YOU believe they are the better team what you are saying would be like me saying that the cubs beat themselves in the NLDS last year...i can't say that because the diamondbacks beat them... now, do i think that the cubs were the better team during that series...yes...but they surely didn't lose it...the diamondbacks won and they deserve it...they absolutely did not win because it was handed to them by the cubs... i don't mind that you think your team is better than my team, that is only natural, but my team beat your team tonight, the brewers didn't hand the cubs anything

    I actually doubt this. I don't think he got called up last September (at least he never appeared in a game). Lou was furious with him, and that will probably be one of the names Hendry mentions to Lou, Lou says he will never play him, and that's the end of that. I see Fuld as one of the names along with some of the others already mentioned in this thread. wow, remember when we all thought there was a pretty decent chance for a bit there of fuld being our starting center fielder? yikes...it seems like such a long time ago too

    oh my goodness gracious...this is the big time... i scared the crap out of a girlfriend of mine yesterday when i started screaming and pounding on the wall after edmonds made that catch yesterday to end the game... i told her that she probably doesn't want to be around me for this series if she thought that was bad :cool:
