  1. lets go, trade jones do do do do do lets go, trade jones do do do do do lets go, trade jones do do do do do
  2. The rules don't apply to the Yankees. yep...and that is why they are having the season they are having right now...all that bad karma is catching up to them... rasner left in the first because he can't handle getting hit in the hand with a baseball...whimp... lol at the yankees...i absolutely love it~!
  3. this saturday "fox" baseball isn't like football is it? i mean, can i go to a bar and watch the game there? does extra innings pick up the fox games too? all i get are the friggin yankees...oh...how so very frustrating... i want to see my cubbies, but i guess i will be listening in on the radio
  4. Your timing is right, Hendry should have been launched 1-2 years ago. It amazes me how this guy has avoided accountability for the parent clubs win/loss record and steady decline over the years. Furthermore, he ran the farm system for several years before he became GM, and it has also produced very little from a position player standpoint, and is terrible at developing talent and teaching fundemental baseball. There have been two constants in this organization now for 6 years - Hendry & Rothschild, and they have both avoided responsibility for failure. People can keep blaming Dusty and now some Piniella, but the way Hendry puts the parts together, no one would win with his players. My hope is the new owners will move on this rather quickly, and bring someone in that can improve the entire baseball organization. i am sure they will and really, Piniella is not to blame...i like Piniella...do not forget that he is still getting used to who goes where and what have you...soriano batting leadoff was probably being pushed by hendry...now...the chips are falling where they should be soriano is in LF and he will not be batting in the leadoff spot anymore... lou isn't responsible for the pen looking like a bunch of rotten eggs i believe he will find the proper way to approach this thing in the next month, and lets not forget that we are not even one-third of the way into the season yet... still a long way to go eta" he also has to deal with a ridiculous outfield situation and who really knows how much his hands are tied...i am guessing hendry isn't letting lou do as much as he wants to at this moment...and i really REALLY hope that changes very very very soon
  5. or someone tell me where i can listen to lou...if that is possible please
  6. seriously, do i listen to the score or wgn radio...i want to hear lou quit
  7. where do i go to listen to the postgame\?
  8. yeah, this is my reaction...only they aren't pathetic...the relievers are
  9. want to hear something funny? i benched dye for the first time this season... :x
  10. Looked like he had a cramp. Pretty sure Lou just took him out for a precaution. i hope everything is ok...that could be a no bueno development
  11. meh...i want a win going into this series i wanted a split...there is still a chance the only thing i wasn't banking on was losing the philly series...that was actually kind of shocking... still, if they can split this series and then dominate the white sox because they really aren't THAT good...they will be in pretty okay decent shape hopefully
  12. holy wowsers so, how long is dlee out for then?
  13. i have been waiting for this series for a while now...this is probably the only game i will be able to see since summer session just started today, but... i am both incredibly excited and horrified
  14. exactly... the one thing i was truly excited about before the season was the "swagger" talk from lou... well...if this team is going to have a chance of doing what (on paper) they are capable of doing...then hopefully this fabled swagger comes bursting forth during this stretch...there is no better time to be a badass if you are the cubbies
  15. who here would really like to see big Z traded? a little while ago, I would have said no...but...i just don't know where his head is currently...and the amount he wants on his contract is ridiculous... plus...i am almost exactly as old as zambrano...man, i don't have anywhere near as good as stuff as he does, but i can tell you one thing, i wouldn't lose my head out there like he does... do you think we could package jones and zambrano, or is that too out there?
  16. wow, thanks for the positive feedback sorry i wasn't around for the past discussions nevermind
  17. i am just curious to know what you guys think should happen in between now and the start of next season so the cubbies can finally put a contender on the field...i mean a team with a real chance... i am not talking about pipe dreams here...so...please keep everything within the realm of the definitely possible... the cubs are being sold...things are going to change...what would you like to see happen...honestly... ?
  18. so, this season looks like it could quite possibly be a wash now, there is the sale of the team...i only hope things don't get worse during new ownership can hendry be fired after this season? i guess it is fitting that the cubs won't win jack under his dominion... god ************************************* bears - heartbreak bulls - didn't expect them to do much in the playoffs...so...not biggie... cubs - make me want to cry...seriously
  19. falling below 500 for the rest of the season is not an option that being said go have some fun boys!
