  1. lol they are anything but a pathetic team...not saying the cubs can't handle them...but they are not pathetic
  2. Raises the average to .167. hahhaha he is starting to heat up...batting title right around the corner!
  3. why does everybody talk about us getting a freaking catcher? why in the hell don't we just bring up soto? we need short or RF... or pitching... bloody bollocks get me hendry on the phone...NOW
  4. yeah...i think if dlee isn't going to serve his suspension before the break...then aramis might as well just sit out until after the break... get that knee as rested as possible
  5. our catchers are full of devastating offensive power!
  6. Man, I wish I was watching Ward run the bases! is he your kind of man-hunk?
  7. the drought is over~~ open the flood gates baby!!!!
  8. Lee's last 7 days: .158 .292 .158 .450 yeah...i know...i was being funnylike
  9. vacation at the plate...lee does nothing but hit homeruns...what are you on about?
  10. the question is...why in the world is he not here now? the only reason i can think of is maybe hendry IS trying to get salty other than that...i am clueless
  11. i hope so...if not...this team could be hosed
  12. Chico pitched 6 shutout innings in his last start. He's a rookie who has been inconsistent but he's better than his overall numbers show to this point. I am not surprised that he pitched well. I predicted it. groovy...do you want a cookie? I'm just saying you have to look at the pitch individually and not assume that he's bad because he's a National. Jason Bergmann won't be a piece of cake tomorrow if he pitches to form. no, you are fine...i wasn't trying to be a jerk i don't like starting the day off with a bloody cubs loss...kind of puts me in a craptacular mood
  13. whatever...chances are we are going to crap this game...so...i really just don't want them to drop under .500 for the rest of the season... if they can do that...i don't care what happens...

  15. this is awesome...someone posted about no heartbreakers recently... well...getting shutout by chico is a bit of a heartbreaker
  16. I know you're trying to defend Rich, but he's been pretty mediocre for some time now. true, 10th best WHIP among major league starters is just not getting it done He had a great April which is bringing down his numbers. April: 1.77 ERA, 0.87 WHIP May: 4.66 ERA, 1.31 WHIP June: 4.32 ERA, 1.17 WHIP But hes got the 10th best whip in the ML! Never mind the fact that he has been average or below average outside of his spectacular start. But thats ok, people can keep living off his one month, and making excuses for the rest of the year, its not Richs fault at all. This logic can extend to Zambrano as well. Whats your point? I havent seen anybody going around and constantly making excuses for why Carlos sucked. However, with Rich, nothing is his fault and he is God and can do no wrong. you do have a good point there
  17. yeah, i won't be redundant and mention...SOTO but...i really would much rather have hill in there than bowen
