oh thank you god THANK YOU GOD!!!!!! hey...i have a question for you guys... i have only been to chicago once, when i was 10...i drove past wrigley field... well, i was invited to go to chicago in early august to see pearl jam at lollapallooza and then to see the cubs and mets at wrigley...however, last week my car started acting up, and yesterday i had to shell out 1100 dollars for that crap...so, long story short...i can't go now... BUT, i want my friend to bring me back something from wrigley... what would be a good thing to get? I was thinking of getting a PIE shirt...not a jersey...but a shirt...but...i don't want to get a pie shirt if he is going to be traded...or never given a bloody chance...but...i don't know... besides that, since you guys have been all around the friendly confines...what should i be thinking about him bringing back for me? thanks

Two words: Jim and Hendry. yeah well, that [expletive] better be sent packing after this season... I wouldn't count on it unless we end up below .500. Yeah, as the season goes along it seems less and less likely that Hendry will be fired. Even if the Cubs finish a few games short this year, he will most likely be the G.M. next year IMO. one more year of hendry makes me want to cringe...at least someone won't be tempted to pick up sabean then...god, that dude is slightly stoopid -

willy usually platoons with the man of glass (drew)...but they brought ellsbury up...so...pena is now kind of like the weak link... the red sox outfield is actually almost as funny as ours -

Lou and Perry have been working with him. i know they have...but he is not getting much playing time i don't know why, but i just feel better with him out there everyday call me crazy Lou feels very strongly that he'll do better working off the field for a while. Hopefully he's right. yikes...i really hope so too! I can see some benefits in it. It takes a lot of the pressure off of him. Especially with the hot streak we're on. maybe it is just the dork in me, but i see something really special developing between him and soriano...i guess it is just going to take some time... i just need to exercise a bit more patience

Raises the average to .167. hahhaha he is starting to heat up...batting title right around the corner! It's 117 points higher than what Bowen has hit since joining the Cubs. are you thinking what i am thinking? hill for griffey? trade dlee in the offseason for jed lowrie...acquire a-rod...put him at first righteous!
