    Straily looking good again tonight. Not as good as his previous couple of outings but has only given up 2 hits no runs 3 BB 3 Ks in 5 ip so far

    that's actually really close to kris bryant's slash line as a professional. I know Theo said they wanted Bryant to have one full year in the minors. What excuse did he give for that line of reasoning? Something about it being his first full season of professional ball.

    Yeah this Ramirez guy and his 1.26 ERA sucks. His velocity is down considerably hopefully just due to the time off or something.

    Mike Olt has the lowest batting average of any non-pitcher with over 250 plate appearances in baseball history. Not that that means much for his trade value or whatever, but just thought it was amazing. Only Olt doesn't even have 250 plate appearances he had 187 this year. Its all together possible that Baez puts up very similar numbers in the same number of plate appearances. Is everyone going to write him off to? I don't think people should be so quick to write him off. Id like to see him back up when the rosters expand and give him another shot. 212 this year, 40 with Texas a couple years ago. Again, not using it as justification for what kind of player he is, just showing his historically...unique (for lack of a better word) the start of his major league career has been. bah AB plate appearances ugg w/e still think he deserves another shot

    These sorts of opinions are everything that's wrong with baseball fans. If your going to let half the teams play in the playoffs what's the point? It's incredibly dumb when the playoffs are already a crapshoot, now they mean next to nothing since so many teams are in it. Logic is hard to see for some people.

    Do you like home runs? They used to be taboo in baseball 100 years ago, but the reason the rules were changed is because excitement. That's also why a wildcard was added. And a 2nd. Isn't excitement reason enough? The extra wild cards suck to, terrible just terrible...

    Yup believe it or not there are a lot of people that love the NL style of play. The DH is a joke, the game is suppose to be 9 players fielding and the same 9 fielders batting. AL baseball is an abomination.
