really, who gives a pooh. lee is fully capable and has proven so in the past. also, anyone know what our record is right now? you should, a lot of you weren't even born the last time the cubs had this kind of record. stick with lee. the last thing you need is a debbie downer in the clubhouse this time of year. -

Most of the current Braves have very little history against Marquis. Andruw Jones killed him, but he's moved on. Chipper has hit 3 home runs against him in only 6 at-bats. Overall though, there's no real idea if this Braves squad is a bad matchup for him. every matchup is a bad matchup with marquis

according to Mike Claiborne of KTRS: When FSN's Brent Stover and Claiborne (KTRS) approached Edmonds after the game for a quickie on-field interview that has become standard procedure for MLB rights holders, Edmonds blew them off and said: "I'm (censored) done with St. Louis TV and radio and I'm (censored) done with the Cardinals." And then he walked into the Cubs dugout. -

They kept pitching to Pudge in the NLCS when they often didn't have to, and he kept killing us. It has to be an organizational philosophy of some sort. like not winning.

how can you argue with this evidence ARam's EqA the past four years, by the way: .307, .302, .292, .294 i'm just saying, either braun is a better hitter than ARam, or you're assuming that his minor league and major league performances are both flukes, and his PECOTA projections are too high. that's not to mention the otherworldly projection Bill James had for him i'd gladly take Braun and his career .617 slg over Ramirez, offensively how are those bill james otherworldly rich hill projections doing? -
