If Hendry had got the deal done for Rod Barajas. We'd be sitting with a punk catcher and Soto would either be tearing it up on another team (likely) after we traded him for some has been (Jay Payton?) or he'd be rotting in the minors ala Murton.

Is it time to make Cedeno a starter?

This. Cedeno was the better player coming into ST, he was the better player on Opening Day, and he's the better player now. He just has to keep performing in his limited opportunities to hope it gets noticed. I don't know if I would say better player, but more talented for sure. He hasn't ever seized the opportunity though. Hopefully this time he is. He can also personally thank Soriano and his hop for the increased playing time. -
Is it time to finally see what he can do and put Theriot on the bench as a sub that starts three to four times a week at 2B, SS, or OF? I personally would like to see it because of Cedeno's defense.

He had a lot of trouble finding the strike zone. And when he did find the strike zone, he was getting murdered (especially in the 1st inning). He settled down somewhat, but Lou made the right move to go to Lieber in the 4th. It's working out quite well. So no injury, just Hill being Hill. Thanks.
