    Fingers crossed. I'd be excited if the Cubs won the bidding. It's about time they enter the Japanese market. It'd also be one less rotation hole to fill! I like the attitude that Igawa appears to have. He and Z would be fun to watch. On an unrelated note, Vinestal, who is that in your avatar? That would be Mark DeRosa, Ive taken up being his 1 man fan club sense everyone else seems to hate him. I like him and will continue to unless he gives me good reason not to. I like him as well, I try my best to like all the cubs and usually do unless they go all Neifi on us. Also, do we even know if the Cubs bid on this guy?

    Bingo. Let's see how they look next week before pushing the panic button. They did a nice job coming back after the Miami loss. Did we really expect them to go undefeated; to sweep 3 straight East Coast roadies? Grossman has his issues; but let's wait and see. Agreed again. The Grossman haters will ride hard this week, but really, what can you accomplish by playing Greise? Greise was there as a BACKUP in case Grossman got hurt. Until that time I would be very disappointed with the coaching staff if they listened to the talk radio junk and benched Grossman. Grossman is the future, and he's showed a hell of a lot of promise in his first full year. We took down two tough New York teams, and lost to one of the best teams in the NFL, and a 3 time Superbowl QB. Their defense is stellar, and they were playing at home. I'm not saying there weren't things that went wrong, but I'm very far from the panic button. Preach it. Seconded

    I just got owned. I checked the tv listings earlier this week and it had me getting the Bears game at school on FOX. Now I get home from CT and its the Giants game. UGH

    I doubt anyone knows for sure right now. I'd guess Schmidt, Meche, Wolf Those are FA's... Whoops. Thats what I get for skimming.

    If we sign Zito to 5 years he'd be as old as Schmidt is now when its up. I'd probably still rather have Schmidt but I'd be increadibly happy if we sign Zito.
