  1. I think I'm gonna do a board draft. I was thinking this weekend would work. If we can't figure out a time I'm afraid I'm leaning towards an autopick draft. So howabout everyone tries to be here Sunday night late like 6-7 pm EST? Yes/no?
  2. Glad to see it got up to 8. I'm swamped with work at the moment and probably won't have time to work out a real draft time until this weekend. Another option is in fact staging a draft on the board or NSBB chat room. I've done one like that before for a football league and it worked out just fine. So if you guys wanna talk that over, please by all means. Otherwise I'll just go over everyone's posts and pick a time. NOTE: If it may be asking too much but if we do a live one, can you guys post a brief look at your week's sched by day? Anything to help is much appreciated.
  3. So what the hell happened with Gooz?
  4. Freaking A. Anyway you folks can talk amongst yourselves and find a date that I can put?
  5. 5:45 pm CST Wed March 28th. Let me know plzzzzz
  6. Well if you guys can figure out a date, I'd gladly switch. Lets start with a day. A Wed. late afternoon work for everyone?
  7. 9 pm draft? I might be asleep... Where the heck do you live and you're in bed by 9?
  8. March 29 is a Thursday, not a Saturday. Sorry, the 31st.
  9. Oh man I did forget. Head to head league, with the draft currently set for Sat March 29th at 6 pm CST. #: 216190 Pass: sweetlou
  10. so basically, other than being easy to hit he was pretty good? also, he sucked hard in 2002 and 2003. That's nice. So what do you think he'll do this year? suck at pitching. hope i'm wrong. Will you atleast give him a chance this year? So far so good for Marquis. Sounds like he's giving Marquis a chance. What I call giving a chance might be different than your giving a chance. Mine would be not constantly talking about how much he sucked in the past. Personally I always give everyone a chance before I dislike and/or doubt their abilities at the start of a season.
  11. Gonna be a great closer.
  12. I'm thinking of making one. If I can get like 8-10 people I'd do it. Prob be head to head.
  13. I figured this would come in handy. I'll try and list the ones I can pull off the top of my head at the moment. Aramis Ramirez- ARAM, ErrorMiss Ramirez Derrek Lee - DLee, Rodan Ryan Theriot - The Riot Henry Blanco - Hank White Michael Barrett - BareBare, Barrettgasm, Doc Matt Murton - Murton for Certain, Big Red, The Big Murt, Murt Hurt Carlos Zambrano - Z, Big Z, El Toro Ryan Dempster - Demps, Dumpster Alfonso Soriano - Fonzie, Fonz, Sori Jacque Jones - Jock, Jocktacular Lou Piniella - Sweet Lou Scott Eyre - Eyre Supply Thats all I can think of. BTW, upon discovering that Cliff Floyd's real first name is Cornelius, I think that should be his nickname probably forever.
  14. Dude holy crap are they going to sign every BP pitcher in the MLB?
  15. Pretty much. A page 2 article creates the "mediocre" team. The Cubs have 3 starters: Aram, Derosa, and Soriano. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=schoenfield/070301&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab5pos1
  16. omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg
  17. In if theres still room.
  18. I dunno man. I know I'm a bit bias because I know the guy, and I wouldn't say I'd "absolutely go" with Eli, but I have to think that Eli has much more upside than Rex. Surely Bears fans are alot more fearful of Rex running them out of a game than Giants fans worry about Eli. The Giants fans I know just hate Eli.
  19. Definitely. I also think we should take a mid-round waiver on a QB, not because I want him to replace Grossman, but because its a smart thing to do every couple years. I don't want Grossman replaced, but if he is, why is everyone ignoring Brian Griese? He probably has the skillset that all you ninny's want. He's accurate and is a little [expletive] so he'll limit his picks. He also will never win you a game. Why take JaMarcus Russel when you got this guy on your bench for millions a year? Might wanna watch the language
  20. i say lock it anyways. No way, it's almost to 200 pages! Is this the longest thread ever? Not even close
  21. Lovie was a first-year coach. Berrian, Tank and Vasher were rookies. Ogun, Urlacher, Tillman and Grossman were hurt. Craig Krenzel was the starting QB. No Moose or Benson or Mark Anderson. I could keep going. Of course, a good portion of the media would probably have you believe that Craig Krenzel is no worse than Rex. Also, just to add, no Hester in 2004, who I think will be a huge factor in this game. Not to mention that Edge is gone and the Colts defense is weaker.
  22. And we have an offense Again, as you said, its ATH
  23. In more media brilliance, the ESPN.com front page says this: While I can easily understand what they're trying to get at, that kinda made me cringe.
  24. Just from seeing the author and title: We're doomed.
