  1. Hahaha yea it'd be a bit late to start now
  2. Do the Marlins have any contracts left to absorb. Why not throw in Soriano, fully paid?
  3. I have thought for years that Cutler is basically a version of Brett Favre as a player, but without the attention whoring. ESPN should love him. In fact, there was a play yesterday where cutler was being sacked and on the way down just whipped the ball forward to Forte. I think all it did was get them back to the line of scrimmage. If that was Favre, Berman would have gone on and on about "Brett just having fun out there." Of course Favre would have slapped the DT's ass on his way back to the huddle... which would have added to the fun I guess. I'm convinced that these days you need to do a ton of TV ads in order to be loved. I think a prime example of this is Aaron Rodgers, which from what I can tell, is actually kinda anti-social/thin skinned in his private life and yet a hero in the media because he plays well for the Packers and does the discount double check. Yeah. I would have loved to have seen the difference in reaction if Cutler had been the one complaining about the 60 minutes interview or putting blame on the practice squad for not preparing the starters enough. Seriously. He came off as a huge weirdo on 60 minutes. Seemed like he hates being around fans.

  5. Nice little pro-Jay article from Deadspin: http://deadspin.com/5963144/jay-cutler-the-antihero-who-looks-a-lot-like-a-hero
  6. Considering the Cubs used to have one of the smallest front offices by a good margin, I'm going to say not anytime soon.
  7. If anything, this will really force the front office to deal with the OL problem.
  8. Well, I hope James Brown is ready.
  9. [expletive] So, a guy his size, he's probably done for next year too right? I can't imagine bringing an OL back from injury in December next year.... Estimation I saw on twitter was 8-10 months.
  10. Is there video of the Jared Allen hit?
  11. What are your thoughts on Deshaies?

    NFL Week 13

Figured I'd get this out of the way early as I'm bored and I don't feel like acknowledging Eagles-Panthers as an actual game. Also, look at that! A Thursday night game worth watching! NFL Week 11

Also, I love it when people don't treat the NFL as a week-to-week league.
