  1. Yea, I'm not buying the Rosenthal bit until I see it.
  2. There's been talk that the Cubs might be looking for someone to pay some or all of Garza's contract, although I'll believe this next bit when I see it: http://www.bleachernation.com/2013/07/13/obsessive-matt-garza-trade-watch-a-deal-is-reportedly-likely-over-the-all-star-break/
  3. In Iowa, Junior Lake went 4-4 with a double and 3 stolen bases (although is success rate is 13/5) Hooner had his 2nd HR in AAA.
  4. Man the Daytona pitching has been something else as of late. Matt Loosen followed up his no hitter with a 7 inning shutout tonight in the second half of the DH. 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K, 5/8 GO/FO. His ERA for Daytona stands at 1.88 over 43 IP. I'd expect to see him head back up and give Tennessee another shot soon.
  5. It'd probably just be easier to change the title of this one.
  6. Who are your other keepers? Tough choice. Bradshaw is on a team that can't run. Moore will be solid but not special. Gates is on the downside of his career. Alexander would probably be my choice. I like McCoy as the coach and he projects to be a starter on a team that should throw for 4000 yards. He's risky because he's never been anything close to a starting level WR. But I just don't like any of your other options. I'd look to draft a team where Alexander is your #4 wr and best case he's a starter by end of the year for you. Worst case potential matchup option or bye week player. First four keepers are: Arian Foster, Brandon Marshall, Victor Cruz, and Kaepernick
  7. Damn. Definitely the best pitching of any team in the minors at the moment.
  8. 2 straight K's for Baez...
  9. That was Javy's 20th minor league HR on the year, btw.
  10. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Given that a totally surprising rain delay in Daytona has likely ended his day, Ivan Pineyro had a pretty damn fine debut down in A+. 5 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 2/5 GO/FO
  12. Baez strikes out swinging on 3 pitches. Swung on all three. Was definitely swinging for the fences right there.
  13. JAVY BOMB Deep to left. That ties the game. Javy is 2-3 in game 2.
  14. Javy BB on a full count to load the bases.
  15. Why you gotta be like that, Blackburn?
  16. Well for all the premature hand-wringing that went on after the Bryant signing, this draft turned out about as well as could be asked.
