  1. Dun dun dun....
  2. So wait, he has the Cubs signing those three? Yes. Just shows how badly the Cubs need to acquire pool space. So wait, and I apologize if this has been discussed before, but can the Cubs acquire more cap space retroactively or is the penalty for going over triggered immediately?
  3. So wait, he has the Cubs signing those three?
  4. Wow, how does Balaguert already have 22 RBI at Boise?
  5. Really glad Dunston is making a go of it in Boise.
  6. You've outdone yourselves, Cardinals.
  7. It's ridiculous that he has an outside shot at hitting 20 this year.
  8. Almora with a day off today. Can't say I disagree there.
  9. Pierce doesn't seem to be enjoying the FSL very much.
  10. Underwood with 2 H, 0 BB 1 R (unearned) and 3 K in 3 IP so far.
  11. Hawks with 3 errors already.
  12. Javier Baez Errors By Month April - 11 May - 12 June - 5
  13. Good to hear. That's some serious OF speed in TN.
  14. Not really seeing the logic here. All reports have Bryant going pretty close to the deadline, Charcer Burks changes none of that.
  15. I think you should take a step back and recognize that all of those players signed out of intense bidding processes where we have little to no idea what went down and what the FO's budget in each instance was. I've also read some reports that Cespedes effectively chose the A's over the Cubs without giving the Cubs another chance to top the A's offer.
  16. Oh WSR... Never change (by that I mean please, please change)
  17. Some great pitching going on in the very lower levels tonight Eric "I can't believe we got him and more for Tony Campana" Leal so far is: 4 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 7 K James Pugilese: 5 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K Paul Blackburn (so far): 2 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 3 K
  18. Hendricks done at 8 IP, 5 H, 1 BB, 6 K on 91 pitches.
  19. Signed in 2005 out of the Dominican Republic. Came up through the DSL and was used mostly as a starter to OK results. Switched to BP last year, threw about 20ish innings for the Cubs in the majors to crap results. Despite hitting Iowa last year as a reliever he was sent back down to Tennessee this season and is now working as a starter again to arguably the best results of his career.
