    Yea the reason I'm not terribly upset about missing out is that the offense really isn't a priority now for whatever the hell the FA dollars are. I'd much rather they focus that on pitching. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them in on Tomas, assuming the scouting checks out. I've gotten the impression this front office is really adverse to offering substantial long term deals to older players.

    Also, (presumably) final line for Sands: 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K. Sands and Steele combine for 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K Sands and Steele should be forced to piggyback start their entire time in the minors.

    Pretty rare for a HS pitcher that wasn't drafted in the 1st round to dominate like he has right out of the gate, even in the AZL. Austin Reed did it a few years ago. (Sorry.) Bite your tongue
