    I dunno maybe it is a fan bias or the passage of time but I can't bring myself to get worked up over Marshall. Yeah, he did some pretty heinous [expletive] a few years back but he's also owned up to it, recognized that he had a fairly significant mental illness that was affecting and almost certainly enabling that behavior and has spent a ton of time since trying to bring awareness to issues like his.

    DC has three Carolina league teams within a 2 hour drive including one about 30 minutes away. Consider me thrilled. Also, so long excessive rainouts.

    That's kinda shocking. I read it as a pretty standard negotiating tactic to get the KC owner to commit as much as possible to upgrades. I wonder what kind of attendance bump they've seen from the affiliation Bruce wrote about it. They had a good turnout, but supposedly have also had even better in past years. Also kinda surprising. They had a team affiliated with the closest major league team and it won 91 regular season games. Geez.
