  1. Ah nice to have Schwarber's Daytona OPS back up over 1.000
  2. Oh and suck it, Joey Gallo
  3. I just got in and oh my [expletive] god what is going on. Schwarber is a BEAST. Has anyone figured out what his HR pace would translate to for a full season?
  4. A fourth walk for Bryant followed by a stand up triple for Soler. Bryant: 1-1, 4 BB, HR Soler: 4-4, 2B, 3B, BB
  5. He seems to be getting his second wind. The HR cleared the light tower in RF that's what they call a towering shot. There was apparently a flaw developing in his swing (dragging the back foot forward) that the coaches picked up on and corrected just at the time his turnaround started. I like that - clearly, the kid is smart and coachable.
  6. Haha look at 2014 Round 32 pick Andrew Ely holding his own in Iowa.
  7. Bryant with his third walk on the night and Soler with another single. Bryant must be getting bored.
  8. Holy [expletive] [expletive]. SCHWARBER BOMB DOS That boy is on a [expletive] tear
  9. Good lord Schwarber. Dude is going off right now
  10. wow McKinney already has 4 triples at Daytona.
  11. Kyle Schwarber would have the best OPS in the FSL if he had enough bats to qualify.
  12. Apparently Tim is perfectly fine with "whoreslut"
  13. Schwarber's Daytona OPS up to .908 in 126 AB
  14. Jeferson Mejia tonight: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K
  15. Another Schwarber HR, #6 at Daytona and #14 in 64 games.
  16. Couldn't get the tarp on the field in time, apparently. So we might not be getting any Daytona games in tonight. That field is ridiculous. You would think when they built the place they would have built it with adequate drainage. The place floods every time there's a shower it's like they play in a giant plastic tub grrrrrr The one in Lakeland?
  17. Game 1 of Daytona's double header has, you guessed it, been delayed by rain.
  18. Now I'm just going to be continually disappointed his name isn't actually Charger.
  19. I think Arrieta might be the real deal, you guys.
  20. To be fair, some of the scouting reports I've read in recent days have cooled me off on him. I wouldn't be upset if we signed him for that amount of money, but I'm not upset we didn't, either. If we go into next spring without having spent money on something and have a $60M payroll, then I'll be upset. This. I'll readily admit I'd be fine if not excited if the Cubs had signed him to that deal. That said, I'm not terribly bummed that they didn't, either.
  21. Damn I had no idea it was that low
  22. While we need to spend on pitching, hitting is still a need. A ton of the guys we are counting in haven't seen a big league pitch, have injury concerns, or have had struggles with the ML pitching they've seen. A starting caliber OF would go a long way. Hopefully it's addressed somewhere else in FA or trade. So, to solve this problem you wanted to sign a guy that has never seen a big league pitch? hahahahaha
