    rich hill feels like such a good bet to either be really good or flame out immediately that i kind of wonder if you could go ahead and "guarantee" him a rotation spot with the knowledge that if it turns out you don't want him in the rotation, he's going to be so bad that no one is going to give you any trouble for going back on your promise. give him hammel's spot and have jason in the wood role to start the season. i would love to sign rich hill because i always liked him and it is fun that he is good again, but it just seems like such a long-shot that this actually works for any length of time. on a one-year deal, though, who cares sign him. This. At the very least he's great rotation depth at that kind of price. Do it.

    Finally got around to taking a gander at Mark Zagunis' lol-worthy AFL stats. 19 BB in 63 PA for a 30.2 BB% and .476 OBP. He has an .840 OPS.
