  1. Mack-o-wack didn't even try to get out of the way from that HBP
  2. I didn't that that squandered opportunity. Hold 'em Rich
  3. That looked windblown to me nomatter what Len says
  4. I've never listened to them, but from what I've read on here, aren't the Sox radio guys actually pretty good? I don't think so but Sox fans like Ed Farmer (many of them don't like his new partner Chris Shelton). Farmer is a former Sox so he brings the passion for them. To be objective, I think Santo is lacking on the Cubs radio side but Pat Hughes is a much better broadcaster than Farmer.
  5. LOL, I just discovered that The Score is currently playing Blackhawks pregame so there will be no Sox radio and the TV is Len and Bob.
  6. Probably wanted to avoid Barrett/AJ controversy. I bet it's a defensive move because Rich doesn't hold runners close and you know Ozzie is going to have his guys trying to run at will.
  7. Lou also said "let's go get those White Sox." LOL
  8. Lou says he's very impressed with Rocky Cherry. He said he has a chance to make the team!
  9. I love the Cubs lineup! I'm glad Lou is starting the regulars today. :D
  10. FYI, if anyone is without access to WGN TV or local radio, I just discovered that the mics for 'GN are open on Gameday Audio... The pregame is starting now. I'm surprised I can listen considering I'm local...
  11. It's true but I think it's still fun to look at (the mods may want to move this to the Minor League section). Here's Hendry's quote in Bruce Miles' column about the young kids in camp: Bruce sees a noticeable difference in this year's Spring Training camp from those of previous seasons: Hopefully, this is all apart of Tim Wilken's master plan to develop position players and not just the pitching that Andy MacPhail coveted. This is also an interesting point by Bruce:
  12. Good catch. I disagree with that assessment because Rich has been good on every level he's pitched and, until he shows me that his overall numbers last season were fluky, I have no reason to believe otherwise. I think they're just high on these upcoming prospects. Even if Rich Hill is merely mediocre, I could see Lilly being moved by 2010 before him. this stuff is so old. Callis said he just forgot about hill and he should be on there. dont read too much into it. I thought it was curious but RillHillisabeast set the record straight.
