That's a situation where you take business elsewhere and let management know why. Since I don't live in Chicago, I've never had to deal with that too much. One comparable situation I had was at a restaurant here in Louisiana last December. I went into a restaurant wearing my Dallas Cowboys hat. My guess is the waiter was a Saints fan. As I sat down, not only did he take my drink order, but informed me the Cowboys sucked. I just smiled and said, "yeah...whatever." Everytime he came to the table, he had something to say about my being a fan of the Cowboys. Now normally, I'm a decent to good tipper, but today, I left the waiter a quarter and a note that said, "Here's a tip: When waiting tables, it's best not to annoy the people you're serving." My bill was nearly $50 and this is a restaurant that I know has tip shares based on the price of the ticket. I'm pretty sure he had to pay for the right to wait on me that afternoon. Maybe he'll learn to keep his mouth shut. I don't mind a little good natured ribbing, especially from people that I consider friends, but his was quite annoying. Haha, I'm glad you stuck it to him! BTW, the Sox fan craziness happens here a lot. The fan base mirrors their management. They are outnumbered but they get mouthy and look for a fight.
