Can anyone recommend how to go about booking a pair of rooftop seats? Can anyone provide a link or phone number? No chance I'll be able to meet the cost of playoff tickets let alone two or three. This could probably be my only shot. Thank you.
I'm so pumped I could headbutt my monitor. Highlights: * Stopped raining as soon as clock turned 12:00. * Season video was awesome (large ovation to Lou's tirade). * Blajo's speech was championship-like. * Michelle Gelian (Fox News) looked even better in person. Can't wait until Wednesday. I foresee a very unproductive week and utterly useless following Monday. If I only had tickets. GO CUBS GO!
Somewhat off topic but I need some help. When would the NLDS start, regardless of who we play? Also, would we be playing at Wrigley Saturday or Sunday? EDIT - How about game times (I suppose they haven't been announced yet but whoever knows this from previous years)? Plans are fully underway. No tickets and a 3-year old in tow. Bring it on.
Not taking away from the conversation, but who is making the postseason pitching roster anyway? Zambrano, Lilly, Hill, Marquis, Wood, Eyre, Marmol, Howry and Dempster are locks. Who else am I missing?
There's no way this team can trot Marquis or Trachsel out there as starters in a playoff series should there be a need outside Zambrano, Lilly and Hill. How about Kerry Wood as the 4th starter in the playoffs? Could he go for 4-5 innings with Marshall and the rest backing him up? Thoughts are welcomed. Keep the faith folks. The fact that we're backing into the playoffs should indicate this year will be different. Believe!
Indeed. Panties firmly bunched up. Have some faith for Christ's sake. Nice way to project your anger onto fellow posters who "aren't great fans like you". Yawn
Indeed. Panties firmly bunched up. Have some faith for Christ's sake. Welcome to Cubs fandom. New here? Old enough and through the same crap as you have.
bottom level, up against the fence behind the back row of seats, behind the yellow line. You mean that hood rat making a move on me during the last Cards-Cubs series, leaning against the railing behind the 200 section seats paid $15 to chat non-stop and insist on me joining her and her friends? Sorry about the rant, but no thanks to this area.
I have no idea why people want to take our best reliever (by far our best fireman stranding inherited runners) and put him in a spot where we don't use him unless we have the lead in the 9th. If so, who do you bring in to get out of a tough spot in the 6th-7th in a game? Howry? Then who is the bridge to Marmol? Marmol is more effective and useful in his current role and Dempster has been successful in his role as closer. Discussed ad nauseum and still true. Thanks for the reminder. Marmol should stay right where he is.
