    So we predict the drunken blackout to occur sometime between the bottom of the first and the middle of the second, right? Whew, maybe, I'm worried about the pre-game.

    Ooh I just realized this game is gonna be a Joe Morgan special. I'm gonna drink every time Morgan talks about Jose Reyes' god-like qualities or generally says something stupid. This way if the Cubs lose I really won't care.

    I remember the Cubs doing well against Glavine last time they faced if I'm not mistaken...What I'm worried about is Marquis' #'s to start balancing themselves out against the Mets' potent offense.

    How many games have we just flat out gave away? It's has to be at least 8 games. If we just won half of those we would be in good shape. I don't even know what to say anymore. It's the same thing year after year. The bullpen alone accounts for 9 losses. That's 9 games blown after the starter left either tied or with the lead. Not good. That makes me want to punch myself in the face.

    I definitely see us taking Vitters and while I don't mind that pick at all its gonna kill me when Wieters is the starting catcher for the Pirates developing what is commonly known as "Cub killing."

    That may be true, but delays usually hurt the team pitching more then the hitting team IMO.
