  1. This is the most active off season the Bears have ever had. And now with a very good draft. It's not surprising the Bears and Cards couldn't agree on the player.
  2. Grabbing a LB is not surprising in any way shape or form. I figured they would go S or LB next.
  3. I read somewhere that Robinson has weight/work ethic issues.
  4. I'm just excited that we can draft WR early and later on in the draft and actually have some hope for them.
  5. I'm not gonna complain. Too much good has happened. The Bears are going after WR's here after ignoring the position for so long. I imagine some of those lineman will be left in 14 picks.
  6. lol...and the run at OG picks up steam
  7. Colts get Austin Collie. I figured he was gonna be taken soon.
  8. There was a time when he was drafted that the move to S for Vasher seemed possible. It doesn't look likely now.
  9. How the hell did DJ Moore fall that far?? I'm still psyched about that pick.
  10. Fantastic draft. I think they go S or LB with 140.
  11. Sounds like no one is sure about him besides he's a freak of an athlete. He went from a slow first step to someone who explodes off the line. He sounds like a good project with a high upside, but the lack of DB's is a little worrisome. The Bears brain trust definitely went in to the draft with pass rush as the top priority.
  12. Well from the Rotoworld take it sounds like Marinelli had a boner for him. At the very least they could have waited till 119 and taken Moore. Perhaps there were some teams at the Texas pro day that made the Bears nervous.
  13. I'm not one to whine about coverage but it seems the Bears have been talked about for about 3 minutes total, if that. And without Jay Cutler, that's cut in half.
  14. Bears remaining picks: 4th - 119 5th - 140, 154 6th - 190 7th - 246, 251 Oh, and we have to watch the Cubs lose again today when we have the time
  15. Ok enough of the Giants now...Talk about the picks please.
  16. Well Bears pick again at 119. We don't have to wait too long. They gotta go DB.
  17. From SI.com BIOGRAPHY: Former running back who moved into the starting lineup as a senior and then posted 29 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss. POSITIVES: Relatively athletic defensive end with adequate size/speed numbers. Moves well on his feet, plays with balance, and fluid making plays in all directions of the field. Keeps his pads low to the ground, stays within his pass rush angles, and quickly gets into the backfield to disrupt the action. Works his hands throughout the play, and rarely off his feet. NEGATIVES: Lacks top first-step quickness. Does not show a burst of speed. Raw at the position, and does too much thinking rather than playmaking. ANALYSIS: After bouncing around as a reserve early in his Texas career, Melton may have finally found a home at defensive end. He possesses the build for a two-gap lineman, yet he is a developmental prospect who needs a lot of work on his overall game. PROJECTION: Seventh Round
  18. Sounds like Angelo woke up from his nap.
  19. I'm thinking D.J. Moore.
  20. I would much rather the draft just stick to the players and team analysis. Have 1 representative of each team go over the pick and how they plan to fit him in. The draft becomes a side story with all the other crap ESPN goes through.
  21. I'm hoping... Maiava DJ Moore I was thinking Moore as well. I don't know anything about Maiava
  22. So who are they taking at 105? Butters don't answer.
  23. Iglesias!!!
