    It's where the pitch goes over the strike zone. Guess I need to get my eyes checked, cause if crossed any part of the zone, it was the very tip of the left front corner of the plate.

    So when do we start thinking seriously about playoff scenarios with 40 games left? If the Cubs can just "stay aflot" at .500 in their remaining games, 20-20, that'll put them at 95-67 to finish the season. Including tonight, (if we went .500 the rest of the way) Milwaukee would have to finish 26-14 to win the division. And the Cardinals would have to end their remaining 37 games at 27-10 to keep the Northsiders out of the playoffs altogether. Regardless to say, while I hope we finish 25-15 or better [would be sweet to see 3 figures in the left-hand column]; if we only go .500, I really like our chances at winning the division and HFA for the NL playoffs.

    So, the Cubs only have to go .500 [20-20] the rest of the way to finish with 95 wins... definitely doable! =D>

    Beat me to it. I was gonna say that I remembered being frustrated about either not hurdling the 21-over mark, or when we did, we'd immediately lose 1 or more and have to start over - and here we are now at +28. :clapping:

    Does anyone have a frigging clue why we historically struggle so much with these soadroppers?! Its like every time you see a series with this team coming up, the best you can hope for is 1 of 3 or getting lucky and splitting a 4-game set.
