I tend to agree with you here. In the grand scheme of things a W or L doesn't matter too much... but there are certain elements within the game that I do think are important... getting Sori's stroke back, maybe getting Kosuke a few good ABs... important bullpen outings etc... But I guess more than anything, I don't want to see any other team celebrate a clinching of any kind at our expense. I don't want to see the Brewers untuck 'em in a clinching situation, just like I don't want to see anyone clinch anything against us in the playoffs. It's one thing to lose a game... but it's another thing to look silly in doing so... whether the game means anything in the standings or not.

I dont mind him being cold now, because he's gonna snap outta it around playoff time. Not if his wife finds out about those pictures on deadspin/facebook... He might have a bit of a distraction about a pending divorce on his mind just in time for the playoffs.
