  1. Brewers just wasted a leadoff double in the 5th Barmes/Holliday/Hawpe due up in the COL 6th
  2. Unless they want to have a race to see which one of our injury riddled aces can get hurt first. =D> =D> =D> =D>
  3. Sheets has thrown 87 pitches through 5 and is due up 3rd in the inning. Whether he goes out for the 6th or not...he surely can't be around much longer than that...
  4. WTG Scotty Pods! Then of course Scotty Pods proceeds to get thrown out by Kendall.... Dope
  5. Well when you go up against the likes of Pineiro, Mulder, and Thompson.... did you expect that offense to?
  6. Phils have broken up the no hitter being tossed by Mulder/Thompson... 1st and 2nd/2 outs in the 4th
  7. Nevermind -- Ianetta struck out giving Sheets 9 through 4.
  8. Rockies do have a runner on 2nd, and Sheets PC is getting a bit up there with all his Ks. If Rusch can keep this one close, there's always a chance for magic :)
  9. Don't know about you, but I love hearing about OPS during a TV broadcast =D> =D> =D>
  10. As long as the likes of Bush, McClung, Gagne stay put....
  11. Not with this awful awful awful strike zone. Think the ump's gotta place to be around 9:15 tonight the way this is being called.
  12. Sheets only struck out 1 in the 3rd inning, giving him 7 through 3.
  13. Anytime Soto scores, it's earned. Because he is.... the most interesting man in the world. Soto: I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.
  14. Ballgame.... Sheets goes the distance striking out 27
  15. I agreed to a point. If Harden shows he will be healthy, in the next 3 weeks, then another stater won't be necessarily (and I would be confident that Marquis/Marshall/Lieber/Geaux Dan would get the job done as #5), but if Harden shows a little wear and tear (which is possible), then you could see the Cubs make a trade for another starter. I still say try to see what Colorado wants for Aaron Cook. There don't seem to be nearly as many questions surrounding his durability as there would be with Burnett or Bedard, and he isn't as crappy as Wolf or Maddux. If that is the case, then the Cubs could see about Cook, but also see about Brian Fuentes and Ryan Spilborghs. The Rockies could help the Cubs fill some serious needs in one trade. Spilborghs got hurt in Milwaukee last night and is headed for the DL
  16. Sheets has struck out 6 in the first 2 innings. Sheesh
