You could, but you can't pick very many other guys beyond Lincecum who could do a better job of mowing the Cubs down. And the Giants aren't that bad on the road either... They're 22-23 away from SF

Possibly true, but if you had to pick a guy to face him, especially at home, you could do a whole lot worse than Dempster. You could theoretically use Z out of the pen for a couple innings if Demp has any trouble whatsoever.

I thought Cain was going on Saturday. I think everyone got moved up a day because of the off day Monday. SF must really think they still have a chance in the West, so they moved everyone up to get Lincecum another start before the ASB
