    The Cardinals did. Struggled against bad teams like the Cubs and the likes of Mateo, Marmol, Walrond, and then went into the playoffs and beat up on the Peavys and Verlanders of baseball. But the difference is...the Cardinals actually made the playoffs...this garbage continues...we're lucky to finish 5 games out.

    This team's march to the playoffs is going to be detoured by powerhouses like the Astros, Reds, Pirates, and Marlins...they don't make it because they finish under .500 in September against a boatload of crappy teams.

    Who is watching a preseason game over a pennant race? Meatheads and idiots. Halfway through a LONG nationally televised game so far, and only 25 pages on the thread...seems quiet. I can't believe people would choose the Bears over this...especialy with C. Leak at QB now.
