Lowest pitch count of the season according to Pads announcers - if he comes out, that is. Struck out the side. Rich Hill blows.

Early on he couldn't find the strike zone at all - 90% balls. Then he couldn't spot the fastball and guys were sitting on the curve. Cameron is all over Hill tonight. 2 jacks. 7 Ks though. He's not tipping pitches. He's just made mistakes that they didn't miss.

LOL! If it wasn't Peavy pitching I'd say yes...Giving him a 3 run lead is bascially giving Marquis 10 runs. Plus, what makes you think that Hill won't give up more? Naw, we're a couple bloops hits and one good swing from tying it up.

Naw, he's just missing his spots. well, hopefully he can start hitting them soon, because he can't keep up what he's been doing the last month and win. This is going to happen when he can't spot the fastball. Guys are just sitting on the curve. Some nights you just don't have it. Hill is allowed to "just not have it" but Z is not? Maybe it's just me. but you seemed to be very eager to jump all over Z, but you're pretty defensive of Hill. How many quality starts has Hill had? What's their respective ERAs? Z is supposed to be our ace. He gets held to a lot higher standard. Z hasn't "had it" for 7 of his 10 starts.
