  1. no one wants to sit next to Z in the dugout.
  2. It's the walk just before Fielder came up that was stupid.
  3. hahah, Z didn't give up the ball right away. tool.
  4. 97 on the FSN Wisconsin feed. still not 98. He's gotta be hurt. I don't think it's any coincidence his line is better now that he's letting it loose.
  5. Hopefully Jones is next on the hit list.
  6. Sorry, man, but Rammy's hurt. Sprained knee.
  7. Jones looked horrible on that fly ball. Circles.
  8. Where's the 98 mph you promised us, Z?
  9. Suppan's pitch count is at 56 already.
  10. Good pitching prospects hardly ever get moved any more. If Z is going to be dealt, we need good, young pitching coming back our way. Otherwise we get to wait for the guys in our pipeline to develop. I love that Juan Pierre trade, btw.
  11. If you want your two way player to come up with an injury, by all means. Catching at the major league level is rough on the body. There's already concerns about him sticking at catcher in the future.
  12. i don't understand why people love z. In 2004, I remember, he was the most-liked player on this board. He also happened to be pitching like a guy that deserved the Cy Young award. ...and not saying he would win the Cy Young and then pitching like Marquis circa 2006.
  13. that's good, but not 8 year 130 million good. yeah, i'm not so sure that deserves the smiley face with sunglasses. that puts him like 13th among all outfielders in OPS. of course, even with a 1.000 OPS, his contract would still be bad. I think of his value as a leadoff hitter, not as a LF.
  14. that's good, but not 8 year 130 million good. It's almost guaranteed he won't live up to that contract. Oh well. He is worlds better than any Cubs leadoff man I've ever seen.
