Looks like he tweaked a hammy. Doesn't look to bad, but we are the Cub,s so let's get the offical word first... And once we get the official word, we just wait and see how inaccurate it was.
On the note of MLB.tv; my market blacks out the Cubs, White Sox, Royals, Cardinals, Brewers, and Twins. I only get Cubs and White Sox games on TV. It's frustrating.
Was that the Reds game in 04 when Dusty got tossed for failing to execute a double switch? Probably my most favorite game from that season. I really liked that walk-off win against the A's at home... Where Walker slid in safely FTW. I was at that game. It was certainly one of the best I've been to in person. A game against the White Sox in which Todd Walker walked to force in the winning run was also great.
He's had one good start and one that was pretty bad, even when you consider that Izturis forgot how to play defense that game. He's having a good one so far, though.
No, just the stupid left field/right field thing. I hate the bleachers. Please explain. Bleacher fans in left field chant "right field sucks!" and vice versa. Despite the fact I frequently sit in the bleachers, I'm not a fan of the chant.
So what do you guys think the new lineup indicates? Is Pie coming soon or does Lou want to get a Floyd-Soriano-Murton outfield going? Something else? Sorry if it's already been discussed.
It seems like I'm alone here, but I'm a big fan of the hit and run so long as the batter's objective is to hit the ball on the ground. Nice job by Marquis so far. He's throwing a lot of pitches, but if he can go 6 and put up a decent line I'll be satisfied.
Really? That's not going to get a pitcher who hasn't exactly established himself any favors in regards to staying in the majors. In his defense, it was apathetic attempt at a block by the catcher. The catcher isn't exactly established either. Not saying he is, but you should never act like that to a teammate.
