    I hope the Mark Redman that everyone else hits shows up tonight. Historically, it seems the Cubs stink against soft-tossing lefties. You could've just left out soft-tossing lefties.

    I don't really care about pitch counts or Z's ERA at this point. He goes 7 innings tonight, no matter what.

    If that ends up being the case, let me assure you that Dusty will move to the top of my Most-Hated List for trying his hardest to ruin every pitcher who put on a Cubs uniform during his tenure. Cripes, he should have been fired after the Chad Fox debacle. That was inexcuseable. Maybe I missed something with Fox. The guy blew out his arm. I think that had a lot more to do with the rest of his career than his brief stint with the Cubs.

    Wuertz is looking shaky, just as Cotts did last inning. I'd like to see a few arms get going in the pen.

    With the 8-9-1 hitters up, Wuertz should be able to get through this inning. Nothing's ever a guarantee though, especially with the Cubs.

    With Barrett-Pie-Theriot up, I've got a good feeling about this inning. ANOTHER well hit ball right to a defender.

    Oh man. Wuertz is simply dynamite. Hopefully he's good for one more inning, and then we can hand the ball to Dempster with (hopefully) a lead.
