Howry and Eyre are a lot different. Howry was really good last year. Eyre was bad. We shouldn't be surprised that Howry is returning to form.

I just did the stupidest thing I've ever done. As he struck him out I yelled "BOOM!" I have no idea why.

LOL. That is funny. The double switch was the right move. He wanted Howry to pitch the 9th. If he doesn't double switch he has to pinch hit for Howry in the bottom to the 8th. This is true, I was not aware he had Howry in mind for the save at the time. Much smarter double switch move than a typical Baker version. Good call. I'll admit my mistake.

Lou's dumb double switch is going to come back to bite us. If Pie does anything but walk they're going to walk Lee and pitch to Howry.

But losing in extra innings is so painful. Actually, I'm being too optimistic. Watching Izturis bat is way more painful.

If izturis bats here someone should be fired...likely Hendry. Oh he is gonna hit. well, he'll bat... It got a laugh out of me.

Even with Izturis up next, I think a bunt is the necessary move here.

Lee isn't going to put up a .413 OBP this year. His numbers are plummetting, to the tune of a 750 OPS in June. I don't think you can project numbers for the rest of the season based on a month. Players have good months and bad months. I can project he won't maintain his numbers. He had a fluke start based off an insance BABIP that was unsustainable. He has not sustained it and his numbers are falling fast. Yep this will be a mark grace season before it is done. With the way Derrek has looked lately, I think we should be praying for a Mark Grace season.
