  1. More than Theriot? More than ECK? I THINK NOT!
  2. Funyuns are just incredibly foul. I don't get the appeal.
  3. I don't know, but he's plummeting toward DLee pre-2005 status, and that ain't good. Eh, Derrek was a pretty excellent player pre-2005. Eh, not even close. A consistently good on base percentage and 30+ homers? What in the world is wrong with that?
  4. I don't know, but he's plummeting toward DLee pre-2005 status, and that ain't good. Eh, Derrek was a pretty excellent player pre-2005.
  5. Ha! I love the bullpen guys taking a little ballpark tour.
  6. I'm not 100% positive, but I think it's blowing in from left.
  7. Pat had me fooled. Did he say his usual "that ball's got a chance?" It certainly did. I thought it was killed.
  8. For anyone unaware, the Tigers have come back and now trail 4-3.
  9. DANG IT! With how quickly Guillen got to the wall, I figured that was long gone.
  10. Bob Brenly just made a South Park reference. BRAVO!
  11. We better not stop scoring the rest of the game.
  12. Remember when a lot of people wanted the Cubs to bring in Jeff Weaver? Barf.
  13. It's nice to actually get runs off a starter that everyone else kills.
  14. What's everyone's opinion on Marshall's ceiling? Everything I've read seems to suggest he can be a solid middle of the rotation starter. That certainly seems pretty accurate and there's nothing wrong with that.
  15. Marquis looks good so far. Let's not get shut down by Jeff Weaver.
  16. Santo likes every lineup as long as the player are wearing Cubs uniforms.
  17. Ow! The salt, it burns! PS Go Hawks.
  18. Come on guys, the easy choice here is Hundley.
  19. You know, I was thinking about that the other day. In 2004, it was a foregone conclusion we were going to get Orlando Cabrera. Instead, we got Nomar, which seemed much better. We'd be golden at the SS position if we had just gotten Orlando like we were supposed to.
  20. Almost as bad as Adam Dunn in LF. With his offense, you've gotta deal with the poor defense.
  21. Cubs fans have always been enamored with Dunn (rightfully so). I'm not sure that everyone around baseball likes him as much as we do though. Honestly, I just don't know how much the Reds are going to need for him. It could be Z, it could be some prospects. We'll see. Still, tell me this isn't appealing... LF Soriano CF Pie 1B Lee RF Dunn 3B Ramirez 2B DeRosa C Barrett SS Theriot
  22. Murt, Marmol, Guzman? To be honest, I don't know how hot or cold the trade market for Dunn will be.
