    I don't see the issue. My view of him is hurt by his inability to play good basketball, not his enjoyment of tasty beverages.

    How can you hate the guy? I hate that his career has been derailed by injury, but love Kerry. I feel bad for him he was picked by the Cubs. Kerry will never get the wrath of Cubs fans. Prior on the other hand, he's going to get booed quite a bit whenever he's at Wrigley. I don't dislike him either. Again I feel bad for the guy that he was drafted by the Cubs. You got to hand it to us, we ruined two arms that come around once every ten years for a team. I don't dislike him either, in fact, I love him. But if Prior has bad outings as a Cub, or comes back in a different uniform, I see him getting rained with boos.

    Not too many 3B make the play on that ball. which means our 2B playing third had no shot My feeling is DeRosa is better defensively at third than he is at second. I've always read right field is his best defensive position.

    I'm appalled by watching him play the game. That's funny. The last three years, he's been one of the very few reasons to watch the Cubs, and two bad months into the next season, everybody says they can't stand him. Barrett haters remind me way too much of Yankee fans... that whole "what have you done for me lately?" crap. It's disgusting... and it's certainly not befitting of a Cubs fan. Cubs fans on this site that have that attitude like cubbiechris make me sick to be a cubs fan. If a guy has been nails for you for 3 years, you don't throw him under the bus. The same thing happened to Z. It IS disgusting. and Pathetic. I don't like being associated with those types of Cubs fans. I love Z. I love Barrett. That doesn't mean we don't have the right to be upset with how they're playing.

    Derrek Lee is an excellent pitching coach.

    I don't hate him at all, just some of the things he does. In fact, I really wish he'd get his act together so we could keep him. I love Barrett and I want him to turn it around. He's a good hitter and isn't as stupid defensively as he's shown himself to be this year. However, he's hurting us badly right now.

    Is it just me, or do the Cubs seem to have a lot of really slow SPs that are susceptible to steals? There have been many instances of runners getting such good jumps on our pitchers that there was no chance of throwing them out. It's not just you and it's not just this year. Z is quick to the plate, but that's about it over the past couple of years.

    I haven't even really said much in this thread, but I want to let it be known that I want Dunn. You know who I'd like more though? Pat Burrell. I'm sure he can play right.
