I'm not surprised really, but if you look at his ERA and wHIP etc. he doesn't really settle in. Except throw out the whip stat against the cubs, we don't bother with taking walks. So can we use the... HIP?

I don't get how you completely lose it in one year like he did. He isn't old enough to warrant this drop in production. I don't get it either. The reduced PT excuse can't be used anymore, as he has been playing all the time lately. It makes no sense. He's never been good, but if he could put up his career norms from center field he'd actually be reasonably useful. As of now, our best option in center is Felix.

How about having an opposing runner on third with no outs, striking out the next two batters, and then giving up a bloop single? That's much worse.

We agree because we're Hawkeye fans? If an Iowa education is what's making us think that Marquis will do well, we should probably transfer.

I agree with Rusch here for some reason. For absolutely no logical reason, I think Marquis will pitch competently tonight. Something along the lines of 7 IP and 4 runs.
