I think that's as funny as anyone else, but do we really need to have slurs like that floating around in here? Oh come on. Vance says "Just win, bitches." before every game and nobody gives a rat's ass. All he said was "[expletive]" "[expletive]" is a lot different than "bitches." We have a lot of different kinds of people posting here and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be sensitive to their differences. You don't see the N word in here for a reason.

Why is that post called for? To put your question in another way, why is it uncalled for? Who put you in charge of pointing out posts or posters that you feel are unintelligent? fixed That works too. i said that because Barrett has been brutal for the Padres (236/236(!)/303). He's had a Jock-esque nosedive from his 2006 numbers. As in he.. hasn't drawn a walk? Not one? And for whatever reason, I had this vision of Koyie Hill hitting it out there. I was ready for a 7-6 game. :(

I'd do that. Make Marquis your long man. Unfortunately it would be almost certainly be Hill or Marshall, not Marquis.

Wrong. Marquis=Longball Pitcher has sucked for awhile now Hill=Started off well but sucks now Marshall=Sucks now. This is Marshall's second bad start of the season, stop whining.

Way to eat up those innings, Sean. Both of his bomb starts have come in games where all we needed was innings, as the starter the day before got shelled.
