  1. Given that it's a night game, it's a sad possibility that he just might start tomorrow.
  2. It was inevitable that this would happen. He's been getting hammered the entire game.
  3. Would DFAing Marquis really be a bad move?
  4. Predictable. Get Marquis out of the rotation, now.
  5. Yes, the game would be considered complete.
  6. That was absurd. Also, how long has it been since Aramis homered?
  7. He never drives the ball, he has no power  He hit it all th way to the wall with a 17mph wind blowing out. Watch out, Bonds. He's got more power then any of you give him credit for, whether you guys admit it or not. Please get this game in You can say it as much as you want, it's still not true.
  8. AWESOME! I definitely didn't think two would score there.
  9. Soto hit that pretty hard. Good to see.
  10. Seconded He'd cost the league minimum as well, right? I'd vastly prefer him.
  11. I thought it was gone. Same here. Looked pretty great off the bat.
  12. Can you get rid of that stupid signature now?
  13. Nice catch Marquis! Too bad too balls were absolutely scolded that inning.
  14. Should we really think that this would be a platoon situation? I'd think Edmonds would play every day.
  15. Just to clarify, Edmonds can be signed tomorrow, right?
  16. Edmonds is not Nomar or Fukudome. He's not going to be a celebrated new player. Cubs fans at Wrigley hated Jim Edmonds. This isn't a NSBB thing. He will have, at best, a mixed reception. My guess is it won't be emphatic one way or the other. Exactly. Anyone who has been to a Cubs Cardinals game knows it I've been to plenty, I just think you guys are underestimating the casual fans' ability to forgive and forget. Also, Edmonds clears waivers tomorrow? So he could be a Cub by tomorrow? Barf.
  17. I think you guys are wrong in assuming that the fans in general would have the same reaction as the fans here. Edmonds would get a huge standing ovation in his first at bat, I guarantee it.
