He's still just the 18th best centerfielder despite his recent hot streak. man...If we could get DeJesus...that would be sweet. And maybe turn and trade DeJesus to another team for another HOFer 2B, perhaps? 8) With Mr. Hendry..the possibilites are endless.

He is a #8 hitter. If you have a team that is solid offensively you can slot him in down there in the lineup and and you are good to go. The problem is being under the dellusion that this guy is a bonafied #2 hitter base upon a good 2 months he had in 2005.

When you are a garbage ball player batting 2nd in the lineup..that is what usually happens. Not Ceasar's fault. He sucks with the bat..blame the GM for getting him.

Now that Neifi is gone, Izturis should be next. He's terrible! Sadly that is Jim's SS-#2 hitter of the future.

2 positives: Clear sign that Dusty won't be back. Neifi was probably re-signed this offseason at Dusty's request Thats 2.5 million that we can use to get a top starter this offeason...Zito, Schmidt, or the guy from Japan.
